Volunteer opportunities are short , easy and oh so helpful. Using your Car/SUV/Van you’ll arrive at your pickup location, load up and deliver it to a designated partner agency, such as soup kitchens, food pantries, etc.
Metro Food Rescue has been selected as the official Food Rescue Partner for Detroit’s NFL draft event, April 25 – 27, 2024.
The partnership ensures that prepared, unserved food, and packaged snacks and beverages are donated to help feed those in need.
“This is an opportunity to be a part of the Draft in a way that will have an immediate impact on our neighbors,” said Chad Techner, founder and CEO of Metro Food Rescue. “We’re looking forward to joining fans to reduce waste and making a difference while the eyes of the nation are on Detroit.”
