We have a number of new volunteer opportunities open and need you!

Every day, Metro Food Rescue volunteers fight to help ensure that families, seniors, and veterans across Southeast Michigan have access to the nutritious food they need. Whether it’s packing food at our new sorting warehouse or driving Metro Food Rescue Delivery Routes, volunteers have the opportunity to make a massive impact throughout our network of feeding partners. Volunteering with Metro Food Rescue is not only an excellent way to give back to neighbors in need but allows our volunteers to be a part of the solution to Food Waste in Southeast Michigan. We are truly grateful for the time and hard work of our volunteers. We can never say thank you enough and would not be able accomplish our mission of Wasting Less and Feeding More without you!

INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN METRO FOOD RESCUE DRIVING ROUTES, PLEASE SIGN UP BELOW FOR OUR VERY OWN MOBILE APP. THE ROUTES ARE SHORT, EASY AND CAN BE DONE IN UNDER 2 HOURS! THEY HELP ENABLE US TO GET FOOD TO SMALLER COMMUNITIES!

INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN METRO FOOD RESCUE PRODUCE SORTING SHIFTS, PLEASE SIGN UP BELOW THROUGH THE VOMO APP WITH SHARING EXCESS! SHIFTS ARE TUESDAYS-FRIDAY FROM 11:00AM-2:00PM. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DRESS FOR THE COLD EVEN IN THE SUMMER!
