Our Mission: Waste Less & Feed More
We have grown quickly from the early days of picking up prepared banquet food. In 2024, we rescued over two million pounds of food that would have been thrown away and delivered it to distribution sites throughout Southeast Michigan. Now, we have trucks on the road 6 days a week, picking up food from more than 91 locations and dropping it off at 88 feeding partners food banks, soup kitchens and community feeding locations. This includes bread pickup and delivery, catered or prepared food pickup and delivery, produce pickup and delivery and various other forms of non-perishables. It is our operating mission to rescue food that would be wasted and relocate it to individuals in need. Our goal is to bring fresh, delicious and nutritious items to our partners throughout Southeast Michigan. We work hard to ensure a reduction in food waste and food insecurity in Michigan as well as to educate communities and individuals on how to reduce food waste at home.
